2. Click on the unzip button (leaving the default folder at c:\ will install cCc-Bot to c:\cccbot51\)
3. Go to your cccbot51 directory and double click on mirc32.exe. When you first attempt to connect you will be prompted to enter your personal details.

Nick Control Setup
Right Click/Nick Control/Setup
Choose where you wish to keep your nick passwords files.
Set your Primary Nick (The nick you wish to identify to regardless of what nick you are currently using).
Set whether you want to Auto Recover your Primary Nick if someone else is using it.
Set whether you want the script to automatically change your nick if you become Guested, and if you set it on, enter the nicks you want the script to attempt in order with a space in between each nick.
Set whether you want Auto Identify On or Off.

Nick Control Console
Right Click/Nick Control/Control Console
In this console you can enter all your nicks (up to 20), their passwords etc etc.

Channel Control
Right Click/Channel Control/Setup Dialog
To set an autojoin or op channel you need to be in that channel at the time.
Self Triggers are on the next tab. Note that self triggers do not work in a channel unless it's set as an Op channel.

Ctcp and Floodnet Pro
Right Click/Ctcp and Floodnet Pro
Here you can turn your CTCP Pro and Floodnet Pro on or off.
The CTCP protection in this version basically allows a user to CTCP you once only, then ignores the user for a while.
The Floodnet Pro makes use of /ignore if a single address is flooding you. Unfortunately this is not overly efficient. If a number of addresses are attempting to flood you the script uses DALnet's /silence command. The floodnet script has not been tested extensively at this stage, look for improvements in later versions. Note also that there is an F-Key set to use /silence as well (Shift-F11).

DCC Settings
Right Click/DCC Settings
The script settings are very basic, you can set your DCC's to OFF, ASK or AUTO. For further DCC protection refer to the built in DCC settings in DCC Options and Folders.

Away Control
Right Click/Away Control/Setup
Here you can setup your away script. Note that adding a person to your friends list allows them to get through your message screen and away script.

MemoServ
Right Click/Memoserv
No setup needed, just use this dialog to control your memos.

MP3 Player
Right Click/MP3 Player
I haven't used a dialog in this script. I've simplified the script immensely, no autosends, autogets, list gets, etc etc. The script uses mIRC's built in player and relies on you having your MP3's in your $mp3 directory. You set your directory in DCC/Folders.

You will note that there are two types of Random Play, one from all your MP3's and one from your favourites. To add an MP3 to your favourites press SHIFT-F7 in the first 180 seconds of the current MP3 playing.

There is also an MP3 Search facility. After you have performed a search an extra popup appears allowing you to play from the results of the search.

The F-Keys assigned to the MP3 player are;

Shift-F7 - Adds the current MP3 to your Favourites list
Shift-F8 - Plays a random MP3 from your Favourites list
Shift-F9 - Plays a random MP3 from all your MP3's
Shift-F10 - Stops the current MP3

Autokicks
Right Click/Autokicks/Setup
Oooh, looks complicated eh? Nah, just different from previous versions but all works pretty much the same in the end.

The first thing you need to know is that an autokick will not work in a channel unless that channel is named in the dialog. Enter the channels you want each autokick to work in seperated by a space. e.g. #CyberChat #Chat-World #operhelp Do not add comma's! The default settings are the settings we use in #CyberChat and #Chat-World.

F-Keys assigned to the AutoKicks script are;

Control-F3 - Hot key for turning all autokicks ON
Control-F4 - Hot key for turning all autokicks OFF
Control-F6 - Check channel for clones

Note that clone checks are not reliable unless you have updated the IAL (Internal Address List) for that channel. You can use the popup or simply type //who # in the channel.

Joins/Parts/Quits
The script does not control these. You set your preferences by clicking on the little box in the top left hand corner of a channel and choosing EVENTS

Understanding the Titlebar.
The titlebar is packed with information, here is an example.

Further Help

You may be able to find a volunteer in #Starship_Junkyard willing to help you, remember these people are volunteers who help people out of the goodness of their hearts, they aren't rewarded or paid in any way, so don't give them a hard time. Personally I rarely have the time to help people with scripts.
